What kind of photography services do you provide? I provide many types of services.  Click here to find out more.

What is your style of photography? My style is a blend of photojournalistic, fine art and candid photography.

Do you shoot with film or digital?  All digital

Do you have a business insurance?  Yes.  I carry general business, equipment and liability insurance

Do you belong to any professional memberships?  Yes, I belong to Professional Photographers Of America and various other networking groups.

Do you offer professional retouching services of blemishes?  Yes

Will my images be posted on social networking sites?   If agreed upon or approved in contract.

How far in advance do I need to book?  Depends on my availability, it is suggested you book as soon as you know when you want to do a session.  I sometimes am booked a month or two in advance.

What if my family/friends would like to order the images online? Is there a website they go to? Yes, if this is offered with all sessions.

Do you offer a military discount?  No

Can you send me a list of references?  Yes, but you can also view references, via my website here.

 

PRICING


Do you require a deposit?  Yes, typically half the session fee and it goes toward your final costs.  This is non-refundable if cancellations are not made prior to 72 hour notice.

What forms of payment do you accept?  Credit card, Paypal, Check, money order (Images will not be released until a check clears)

Do you offer payment plan options? Not currently

Does it cost extra for black and whites or adding a vintage look to my photos?  No but must be requested.

When is final payment due?  Within a week of our session and/or before any products are shipped.

 

WEDDINGS


How far do you travel for weddings?  I do destination weddings, therefore I will travel outside of the USA depending on location. 

Is there an additional charge if my wedding is outside your range? Yes, there are travel expenses.

Do you offer a CD of digital negatives in any of your packages?   I don’t typically do a CD per say, however I do offer digital images.  I typically offer them downloadable via their own web gallery USB drive. 

Does it cost extra to have the images edited?  No, all images are edited. 

Do you offer albums/prints in any of your packages?  Yes, albums vary depending on number of pages, types, etc.  I offer all kinds of art and prints, from metal, paper, canvas, wood and more.  I will help by offering any suggestions I can depending on your needs.

What can I expect to spend on my wedding package?  Currently, typically from 1,500 and up. 

What is the first look?   A first look is when the bride and groom reveal themselves to each other prior to the ceremony, alone without the wedding party.  

Do you make all your couples have the first look, or is it optional? Optional

How much time is typically needed to shoot a wedding?  Depending on the wedding.  A photographer follows the wedding ceremonies timeline.  We might ask for additional time with the bride and groom depending on the ceremony and reception timing.  Typically, it would be nice for Photographer of Life, LLC to have an hour of time with the couple to shoot portraits.

Will you come for the rehearsal dinner?   I can.  It is not typically in my packages, but can be for an additional charge or factored into the package.

How many photographers come with you on the wedding day? This depends on the package your choose.  I can have up to 3 photographers for your wedding, but it will cost additional.

Do you bring any assistants? My second shooter is typically an assistant as well.

Do you have backup equipment? YES!  This is a must for us.  I always carry extra gear,  just in case.

What do you wear to your weddings?   Usually black clothing, or a dark top and black pants.

Is an engagement session included in any of your packages? Yes, if its not it can be.

If I don’t want something in a package, can you remove it from the package?   Not typically, but I can offer custom packages.  Each client is unique.

How much is the deposit?  25% Deposit.

When is the remaining amount due for the wedding?  1 week

Do you offer a “pay in full” discount?  Yes, 5%.

Do you offer a Friday/Sunday wedding day discount? No

If we would like to have several locations for the bride/groom and bridal party photos, do you charge for each additional location on the wedding day?  No.

Can we meet before I book?  Yes, I prefer this to see if I would be a good fit for you and your significant other.

How would you describe your wedding shooting style?  Lifestyle, candid and portraiture

Do you use flash for any of your photography?  Yes, flash and off camera lighting.

Are you a member of any professional photographer organizations? Yes, I am a member of Professional Photographers of America.

What happens if my wedding gets canceled or I need to change the date after I’ve booked?  I am flexible and want my clients to be happy.  If you need to change the date that should work fine for me unless I have another wedding booked.  I would be more than happy to help find another photographer with you.  Either providing you names or meeting with them myself. 

Do you typically shoot for the whole wedding day?   Yes, I am typically your very own personal paparazzi.

Do you work with any specific vendors?   I have a few vendors I can suggest if a client needs.

Can you hold my date without a deposit?  No

How long does it take to receive my photos after my wedding?  1-3 months.  Typically not longer than 2. 

How many photos should I expect from my wedding day?  Depending on ceremonies and receptions.  My average has been around 400-600 images.

How long does it take to get my albums?   This depends a lot on my clients.  I have been flexible with clients.  Allowing for ordering months after a wedding.  Also, depending on packages, etc.

Do you offer slideshow presentations at the reception?  I can

Do you offer live photo booths? I don’t but can obtain those services if need be.

Do you offer save the date/thank you cards?  Yes

What happens if you get sick on my wedding day?  I will typically work if I can.  If unable to, I will make sure to contact reliable photographers to do the job if you choose.  I would have to be pretty sick.

How many events do you typically shoot on a wedding day?  One wedding per day

What will you do if something happens to my wedding photos?   Technology is not infallible.  I typically shoot,  2 files at once.  Basically, create a backup file as I am photographing. My computers are backed up.  I also keep the cards I shot for 30 days after a wedding in case I need to go back to original files.
